Hair Strings and Magnets: continuing viola solos at the Core of the Coalman. Just published by international bureau of ambiguity and mysterious coincidence Chocolate Monk.

5 viola-shaped pieces performed with electronic things, written and recorded in leaky, empty, previously abandoned places in/around Huddersfield (or Huddersrfield) between 2014-2020.

The cover image here is a mixture of a stone circle on rombalds moor and a circuit of guitar pedals from the floor of the former dance studio where I used to have a studio (with good friends). That studio (in a photograph by Eleanor), and a small recently hatched dinosaur, along with parts of the scores for the second and fifth tracks on the album, are also pictured inside.

The back cover is actually the front door of the place I lived in over off of Carr St, before we moved to Milsbridge.
